Is it cost effective to overhaul/rebuild an engine?  It usually is.  The cost of a new engine can be extremely expensive, therefore, to disassemble and evaluate the internal components and repair the problem is usually more affordable.  We can do it! A rebuilt engine, with proper maintenance, is capable of lasting as long as a new car engine.
